An exploration of seeking, shaping, and forming—only for the essence to dissolve, leaving nothing but traces of meaning.
Inspiration
This series draws inspiration from the architecture of Mardin and its surroundings, with a particular focus on doors, arches, and windows. Their intricate craftsmanship is immediately striking, but with closer engagement, these elements reveal deeper layers—shifting from the functional to the philosophical, from the structural to the symbolic, often unfolding into stories.
During my travels, I became interested in how we conceptualize ideas, emotions, and thoughts—how we shape, manipulate, and at times, erase them. This series emerged from that exploration, reflecting on the fluid nature of perception and meaning.
